Tool Steel

    1.2344 Hot Work Tool Steel
1.2344 steel, as a high-quality hot work die steel, has excellent comprehensive performance. It is processed by electric slag remelting to obtain a highly pure and uniformly structured material, exhibiting excellent high-temperature strength, wear resistance, and thermal fatigue resistance. 1.2344 steel can maintain stable performance in high temperature environments above 600 ℃, making it particularly suitable for harsh working conditions such as die-casting and hot forging; 1.2344 steel has good toughness and ductility, which can effectively resist impact loads. Its excellent processing performance can achieve mirror polishing effect, and its outstanding corrosion resistance makes 1.2344 steel an ideal material for manufacturing high-end die-casting molds, plastic molds, and hot work molds. It is widely used in fields such as automotive, electronics, and aerospace.
    1.2379 Tool Steel
1.2379 steel is mainly used for high wear-resistant cold work molds (such as stamping molds, shearing knives), precision plastic molds (especially fiberglass reinforced injection molds), and rolling tools, and is suitable for large-scale production scenarios in industries such as automotive and electronics.
    H12 Hot Work Tool Steel
H12 hot work tool steel has good heat resistance, good strength and hardness at high temperature, high wear resistance and toughness, and good thermal fatigue performance. H12 hot work tool steel is generally recommended for hot working applications that require most crack resistance. These applications include hot punches, die casting molds, forming molds, hot scissors, hot fixture molds and extrusion tools.
    H11 Tool Steel
H11 steel combines high hardness and toughness, and exhibits outstanding performance under extreme working conditions. H11 steel has excellent hardenability and can be hardened by air cooling, greatly reducing the risk of mold heat treatment deformation and cracking; H11 steel has stable thermal strength and oxidation resistance under medium temperature environment, and can maintain good mechanical properties within 600 ℃. It has strong resistance to cold and hot fatigue, and is not easy to crack under frequent cold and hot cycles. H11 steel has excellent resistance to low melting point alloys such as aluminum and magnesium.
    1.2581 Hot Work Tool Steel
1.2581 hot work mold steel is a commonly used die-casting mold steel. 1.2581 steel has high strength and hardness, good resistance to cold and hot fatigue, and good hardenability.
    1.2343 Tool Steel
1.2343 steel is a hot work die steel with high toughness and wear resistance. Its core advantages lie in excellent heat fatigue resistance and high-temperature strength. 1.2343 steel is very suitable for high-temperature working environments such as die-casting and forging.
    D2 Tool Steel
D2 steel is suitable for making all kinds of cold stamping dies with large cross-section and complex shape, as well as cold cutting scissors and thread taking plates; Cold extrusion forming, trimming die, etc
    SKD61 Hot Work Tool Steel
As a Japanese JIS standard hot work die steel, SKD61 steel's core highlights include excellent high-temperature performance, outstanding wear resistance and toughness, good processing performance, corrosion resistance, and wide applicability. SKD61 steel ensures material purity through vacuum degassing and electric slag remelting processes, combined with a heat treatment process of 1020-1050 ℃ quenching+550-680 ℃ triple tempering, which increases mold life by more than 50%.
    FCS 420SS Tool Steel
420SS steel is a martensitic stainless steel known for its excellent hardness and corrosion resistance. After heat treatment, it can achieve high hardness while maintaining a certain degree of toughness, making it very suitable for manufacturing parts that require wear resistance and rust prevention, such as cutting tools, surgical instruments, and precision mechanical components.
    D2 Tool Steel | 1.2379 | X155CrVMo12-1 | SKD11
As a benchmark for high carbon and high chromium cold work die steel, D2 steel's core highlight lies in the precise ratio of 12% chromium content and 1.5% carbon to form a large number of hard carbides. It maintains an ultra-high hardness of 60-62HRC while also having better wear resistance than ordinary tool steel (5-8 times that of ordinary steel). After appropriate heat treatment, D2 steel can significantly improve its anti cracking performance, especially suitable for high-strength wear scenarios such as precision punching dies and shear cutting tools. D2 steel, known as "semi stainless steel", also forms a passive film on its surface to delay corrosion, becoming a classic choice for balancing performance and cost in the industrial field.
