Hot Work Tool Steel

H12 hot work tool steel has good heat resistance, good strength and hardness at high temperature, high wear resistance and toughness, and good thermal fatigue performance. H12 hot work tool steel is generally recommended for hot working applications that require most crack resistance. These applications include hot punches, die casting molds, forming molds, hot scissors, hot fixture molds and extrusion tools.

HD steel is a kind of high toughness, air cooling hardening hot working die steel. HD steel has good high temperature strength and toughness, high temperature hardness, thermal stability and thermal fatigue resistance. HD steel is often used for hot extrusion punch of steel medicine pipe, extrusion bottom die and perforation needle of copper alloy pipe, hot extrusion bearing punch and concave die, valve extrusion low die and so on. The service life is longer than that of H21 steel.

H14 mold steel is a chromium tungsten hot work die steel, characterized by high temperature resistance, wear resistance, and fatigue resistance. H14 mold steel can maintain its hardness and strength at high temperatures by optimizing its composition and heat treatment process, making it suitable for manufacturing hot work molds such as forging dies and die-casting molds.

3Cr2W8V steel is a tungsten based hot work die steel, with its core highlights being high heat resistance (hardness still reaches HB300 at 600-650 ℃), excellent wear resistance (tungsten content of 7.5-9% forms high hardness carbides), and good fatigue resistance (outstanding resistance to cold and hot alternating performance). 3Cr2W8V steel is particularly suitable for high-temperature, high stress, and impact free working conditions such as die-casting molds and hot extrusion molds.
