NC6 is mainly used to produce cutting tools, tapping machines, chisels, drills, files, machine drills, cold stamping dies and die cutting plates. Medium hardness and high hardness steel, with good machinability and wear resistance. It is characterized by low tendency of bending and dimensional change during hardening, and low toughness and tempering resistance.
